In a united show of support and advocacy, the officers, employees, and Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) of QUEZELCO II proudly participated in the Kick-Off Ceremony of National Cooperative Month and Mental Health Awareness Month, organized by PHILRECA. |

When we say forests, we always associate it with tranquility—the feeling of achieving peace and quiet. It is feeling the mysteries of the earth unfolding beneath your feet. Forests are home to diverse species of plants and animals, providing a rich and interconnected ecosystem that supports countless forms of life.
As such, the National Government then launched the National Greening Program (NGP)—a National Convergence Initiative among three national government agencies, namely: the Department of Agriculture (DA), the Department of Agrarian Reform (DAR), and the Department of Environment and Natural Resources (DENR), with the latter as the lead agency. NGP is a reforestation program that seeks to bring back the vegetative cover of the country’s upland areas. It is also designed in such a manner as to achieve more—beyond reforestation—to wit: poverty reduction, food security, environmental stability, biodiversity conservation, and climate change mitigation and adaptation. This National Government Program is being carried out by local government units, civil society, and private sectors, including organizations like The Rotary Club of Infanta. And on October 17, 2023, QUEZELCO II led by General Manager Engr. Von Erwin Azagra and the Rotary Club of Infanta led by President Ricardo Macasaet signed the Memorandum of Understanding for the said project entitled FoRestoration: Tree Nurturing Project 2.0. The activity was then carried out on October 22, 2023, when various institutions from different sectors joined forces to contribute their share to this remarkable endeavor
It is such a memorable experience for each QUEZELCO II employee who came and contributed to help bring change to the world. Small acts of caring for our environment go a long way in preserving the natural world. Our Earth deserves not just our admiration but our unwavering protection. It is our duty as stewards to safeguard its beauty and biodiversity, ensuring a sustainable and thriving planet for generations to come.
We are grateful for this opportunity handed to us to be a part of the change. We recognize that it is only through unity and cooperation that we can combat the challenges posed by deforestation and climate change. It was clear that the FoRestoration: Tree Nurturing Project was not just a tree-planting initiative; it was a narrative of hope, unity, and the power of collective action. Together, we can make a lasting impact! |

It is a shame to see this ethereal beauty of the earth in ruins as more and more people destroy the very thing that sustains and protects them. Climate change has long been an issue of global concern, with its far-reaching impacts affecting not only the environment but also economies, human health, and social stability.
QUEZELCO II, Northern Quezon College, Inc., Ecutopian Design and Consultancy, Ultragreen Ventures, Armed Forces of the Philippines, and the Philippine Naval Reserve were among the organizations that participated in the tree planting activity that took place in the vast 32 hectares at Brgy. Magsaysay, Infanta, Quezon. Four hundred saplings of liputi and narra trees were planted. Each sapling represented a pledge to nurture our planet and a promise to be caretakers of the environment for generations to come

QUEZELCO II strongly supports these advocacies centered on environmental stewardship and sustainable living. Our cooperative is not only committed to providing efficient electric service to the community but also to actively partaking in caring for our environment.

<img data-cke-saved-src=" />
