2,079 MCOs from POGI Attend QUEZELCO II’s 43rd Annual General Membership Assembly

POLILLO, QUEZON – QUEZELCO II successfully conducted its 43rd Annual General Membership Assembly (AGMA) in the Municipality of Polillo under the theme, “QUEZELCO II POWER: Governance Stronger, Service Smarter, Future Brighter.”

The event was attended by a total of 2,079 Member-Consumer-Owners (MCOs) from the Polillo Group of Islands (POGI), which includes the municipalities of Polillo, Burdeos, Panukulan, Patnanungan, and Jomalig. Their active participation demonstrated their continued support for and trust in the cooperative’s programs and initiatives.

The event’s Guest Speaker, MR. GERWYN P. SEE, FOUNDER and CEO, MASE HOLDINGS shared valuable insights on the importance of unity, good governance, and the continuous improvement of services to meet the needs of electricity consumers.

Also present at the assembly was Mayor Angelique E. Bosque of the Municipality of Polillo, who expressed her support for QUEZELCO II’s programs and recognized the cooperative’s significant role in promoting development and improving the quality of life of island residents.

During the AGMA, cooperative officials presented important reports on the cooperative’s operations, financial performance, and major programs and projects. The assembly also served as a venue for sharing the cooperative’s accomplishments and future plans aimed at further enhancing the quality of service in the years ahead.

A key highlight of the event was the open forum, which provided MCOs with the opportunity to express their questions, suggestions, and views on matters concerning the cooperative.

At the conclusion of the assembly, QUEZELCO II reaffirmed its commitment to providing reliable, efficient, and quality electric service to all Member-Consumer-Owners while continuously promoting stronger governance, smarter service, and a brighter future for the communities it serves.
